This gorgeous filigree ring is 18k white gold. It features a 4mm fire opal.
The face of this ring measures 5/16 of an inch north to south with a rise of 6mm off the finger.

This ring was discovered in the back room of a variety store that opened in 1901 and closed in 1996. Under magnification, you can see that the details on each side of the ring are slightly different. It may have been considered "unsellable" or perhaps returned for that reason.
